Learn the future
where it is
being built.

The Greater Bay Area makes the drones, robots and electric cars the rest of the world buys. GBA Future Camp puts your students inside those factories — and gives them a bed on a real college campus when the day is over.

01 / The regionGreater Bay Area · China

Eleven cities that behave like one.

The Greater Bay Area wraps around the mouth of the Pearl River in southern China — nine Guangdong cities plus Hong Kong and Macao. Eighty-eight million people live here: more than in Germany, and more than the New York, San Francisco and Tokyo bay areas put together. Between them they turn over an economy of over USD 2.2 trillion.

Forty years ago most of this was farmland, fishing villages and a handful of state factories. Today it is where a large share of the world’s phones, drones, air conditioners and electric cars are designed and built. Your students will not read about that on a wall panel. They will walk through it in safety boots, beside the people who run the lines — then eat dinner at a stall two streets from the campus gate.

Canton. Two thousand years of trade, and the best breakfast in the country.

02
Shenzhen深圳

Hardware and drones. A fishing town in 1980; eighteen million people now.

Foshan佛山

Appliances, ceramics and kung fu. Our main campus base.

04
Dongguan东莞

The electronics bench of the world, and most of its accessories.

05
Zhuhai珠海

Aircraft and marine engineering, on the coast.

Also in the bay: Huizhou · Zhongshan · Jiangmen · Zhaoqing · Hong Kong SAR · Macao SAR. Longer routes continue to Liuzhou in Guangxi.

02 / TracksSix disciplines

Six things your students cannot learn from a video.

Every track is taught in a working workshop by instructors who run these systems for a living. Each one ends with something the student made, flew, programmed or shipped — not a certificate of attendance.

01UAV

Drones & low-altitude systems

Build a quadcopter, calibrate the flight controller, then fly it. Students finish with logged flight hours and an aerial film of their own camp.

  • Frame assembly and ESC wiring
  • Simulator drills before live flight
  • Aerial cinematography and editing
Host sites · DJI · XAG · EHang · Fengyi · Gaogiant
02AI

Embodied AI & robotics

Programme a robot to see, reach and pick. Then watch a humanoid walk out of a lab and shake hands with the group.

  • Vision and sensor basics
  • Pick-and-place task build
  • Humanoid and cobot demonstrations
Host sites · UBTECH · KUKA · FANUC · BrainCo · SenseTime
03NEV

New energy vehicles

From a bare battery cell to a finished car rolling off the line. Students trace the whole chain in a single afternoon.

  • Battery pack and motor teardown
  • Smart cockpit and ADAS demo
  • Line cadence and takt-time observation
Host sites · BYD · XPeng · GAC Aion · EVE Energy · Sunwoda
04MFG

Smart manufacturing

A lighthouse factory is not a museum. Students see the digital twin, then set up the robotic arm that the twin is modelling.

  • Digital-twin and MES walkthrough
  • Robotic arm teaching and repeatability
  • Quality inspection station
Host sites · Midea · Foxconn · CSOT · Ricoh · Schneider
05ECOM

Cross-border e-commerce

Shenzhen and Guangzhou ship to the world. Students list a product, run a live-stream, and follow the parcel into the fulfilment centre.

  • Product selection and listing
  • Live-stream selling practice
  • Warehouse and customs flow
Host sites · Alibaba · ByteDance ecosystem · SF Express · Eternal Asia
06AIGC

AIGC short-video production

Script to storyboard to AI-generated footage to final cut — in four days, on a phone and a laptop. The output is a portfolio piece.

  • Prompting for usable shots
  • Edit, sound and subtitle craft
  • Publishing to a real audience

03 / AccessWhere we can take you

Anyone can book a tour. We get past the gate.

Our access comes from signed agreements with 70+ enterprises across Guangdong and Guangxi — not from a ticket desk. We are explicit about which tier each programme reaches, so you know exactly what you are selling to parents.

TIER 1

Global HQ showrooms

Brand museums, product walls, and a Q&A with the people who build the thing. Best for orientation, inspiration and media content.

TIER 2

Working smart factories

Gated lines with safety induction and PPE. Best for seeing takt time, automation and quality control for real.

TIER 3

The industrial belt

Foshan appliances, Dongguan electronics, Zhongshan lighting, Guangzhou wholesale. Best for understanding how a supply chain actually clusters.
